Hey mums!
I'm 39 weeks pregnant today.

I'm just wondering how many weeks you were with your first baby when you went into labour?

IsAnyoneElseMissingCheese · 23/11/2017 15:40

Congratulations!

Derekmorganwasinmybed · 23/11/2017 15:42

peachypips · 23/11/2017 16:05

DS 1 - 41 weeks 2 days. Longest nine days of my life! I thought he’d never come.

DS2- 38 weeks.

userabcname · 23/11/2017 16:32

40+3 - waters broke but no contractions! Had to be induced and delivered the next day

DuggeeHugs · 23/11/2017 18:05

Induced at 39+0 with EMCS on 40+0 as DS wasn't going anywhere

Thumbcat · 23/11/2017 18:06

37+3

Smarshian · 23/11/2017 18:06

41+3, due 20/12, came 30/12. It was a nightmare 10 days over Christmas but worth it in the end!

Sarahh2014 · 23/11/2017 18:12

10 days late. I was induced at 8 days over then had him 2 days later.grrrr

isittheholidaysyet · 23/11/2017 18:13

38+2 for DC 1 and 2

Bluebellwoods123 · 23/11/2017 18:19

Started naturally at 41+1 finally dragged out by c section at 42+1. Apparently he would never have come out naturally!
Spacefem website has really good graphs on due dates and arrival dates.

wasMissD · 23/11/2017 18:20

38 weeks exactly. Waters broke in bed at half midnight. Son was born at 8pm. I was glad he was a fortnight early- I was irritable and he weighed nearly 8lbs 😂
Good luck!

user1488622199 · 23/11/2017 18:24

42+1 - had to be induced, he wasn’t budging!

user1467397458 · 23/11/2017 18:26

Induced at 42+4!

RedPandaMama · 23/11/2017 18:27

Was ready to be induced the next day when I finally went into labour, so I was 41+5

MoreSleepPlease6 · 23/11/2017 18:28

40+2, DS arrived 5 hours later by ventouse as quick labour made his head swell and he got stuck! Wash pushing for 2.5 hours before they eventually gave in to my pleads of intervention!

BlackCoconut · 23/11/2017 18:29

First baby 36+4

tinypop4 · 23/11/2017 18:31

39+5 and 39+6 . Good luck op!

canihaveacoffeeplease · 23/11/2017 18:32

Dd1 39+6, no signs at all!
Dd2, 40+10, also no signs at all. Those 10 days were appalling, I think more so because dd1 was on time so I expected that from dd2 as well!

RubaDubMum89 · 23/11/2017 18:32

41+4 😑 was so huge and miserable. I remember sitting excitedly on my due date, naively thinking this is the day, come on little one. Then, nothing haha!
Waters broke at 12.30am and DD was born at 3.50am.
Good luck OP, enjoy your last few days, barely move, eat loads, drink lots of HOT tea and watch a zillion films/TV shows. Ignore all nesting instincts and get DP to do it 😊.

KitKatCHA · 23/11/2017 18:33

34+5, 38+0, 36+6

Induced for all 3 for a variety of reasons! My body is rubbish at pregnancy Wink Grin

Amd724 · 23/11/2017 18:37

40 +4, started induction at 40+2, due to Gestational diabetes. She arrived on the third day of the induction. They broke my waters at 7, started the drip at 11, she was born after half hour of active pushing around 2:45pm.

I remember this vividly, she’s now two weeks old and sleeping on my chest.

Amd724 · 23/11/2017 18:38

I also second, enjoy your last few weeks. SLEEP AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!! -sleep deprived FTM

mintich · 23/11/2017 18:39

42+1 induced with drip as other inductions didn't work. Ended in theatre , episiotomy and forceps

Rarotonga · 23/11/2017 18:41

I went into labour at 39+6 and gave birth in the early hours of my due date. I couldn't believe it!
