I think this baby might be trying to work its way out.
I'm 39 +6 weeks.
I woke up about an hour ago with some pains. The pains are coming every 6-2 minutes lasting around a minute. They are manageable. I've had a couple of paracetamol and I'm swaying around the kitchen.
Trying to be quiet as I don't want to wake anyone up just yet as this could all stop.

Ah gosh, good luck!!!! Exciting Smile

pinkwallpaper · 15/11/2017 01:27

ahhh it sounds like it! try to go back to bed and sleep for as long as you can you’ll need the energy later Flowers

honeysucklejasmine · 15/11/2017 01:27

Good luck! Give your labour ward a ring (if you're planning a hospital birth) so they know to expect you shortly.

wobblywonderwoman · 15/11/2017 01:32

Oh best of luck. Really wishing you well .. Probably be the morning but I'd ring the ward just to talk

PeppermintNightmare · 15/11/2017 01:48

I've just popped my tens machine on. That was hard work, I've no idea if the pads are in the right place but it seems to be helping.
Sat on my ball watching eastenders, I don't think I'd be able to get back to sleep now.

Best of luck!

Oddish · 15/11/2017 01:56

How exciting- good luck!!

PeppermintNightmare · 15/11/2017 02:55

I'm going to give it another 10 mins then wake the other half up. Things haven't slowed down at all. Contractions every 2-4 mins lasting around a minute.

Oh wow!
There'll be a baby here very soon!

Good luck!

FizzPopping · 15/11/2017 03:04

Good luck!

sycamore54321 · 15/11/2017 03:11

One-minute long contractions every 2 to 4 minutes? What on earth are you waiting for? Get yourself to the hospital (or get medical help to you if a home birth) right away.

Best wishes for a safe, healthy, boring delivery.

PeppermintNightmare · 15/11/2017 03:22

they don't feel painful enough to go to hospital yet. Only just started breathing through them.
Partner is awake, running around like a mad man and I've just rung my mum and asked her to come round.

Good luck! It's probably all going on right now Grin

minmooch · 15/11/2017 13:55

Hope that all is going well op

CakesRUs · 15/11/2017 16:22

I wonder if she’s had him/her yet??

PeppermintNightmare · 20/11/2017 21:57

Sorry for the late reply.
He was born at 8am on Wednesday.
We managed a natural delivery using only the tens machine. It was really intense but so glad to have avoided any complications.
