Mucus plug loss / placenta previa

Morning ladies,

So I’m starting to lose my mucus plug at 36+6 weeks tinged with brown blood.

Booked in at 38+4 for an ELCS as my PP is completing covering the os.

Anyway my question is are they likely to bring this date forward with labour impending? Does losing your mucus plug mean anything different with placenta previa?

I’ve called labour ward & they’ve said only to go in with pain/contractions or bright red bleeding but I live an hour from the nearest hospital so panicking a bit!

not potentially as u r booked in.
mucus plug does not necessarily mean impending labour..

@lexilou86 I ended up having a growth scan last week & baby was happy enough so I’m sticking with my original date.... this Friday!!
