I'm 39+4days im not sure weather they are contractions but I get this pain rising up from inside me to under my bump and my bump goes solid my cervix hurts and my ovarie sides hurt when this happens when I'm on all fours I've got a pressure down below and in my bum ? I researched that contractions start from the back and work there way round I'm not experiencing that ? They stopped last night and have started again now I was getting them all yesterday evening and my mucus plug came out yesterday morning x
Any advice on how to keep them flowing ? And are these even real contractions its baby number two and I've forgotten what they felt like.

It could go on a few more days or labour could be imminent and happen any minute. Sleep often including napping in the day when you need it and be active (spinning babies type all fours stuff, birthing ball etc etc) for some of the time when you aren't asleep.

Drink lots, stay well fed and hydrated. Labour is a bit like a marathon and you want to do all of exercise, sleep, eat and hydrate

I can't answer that question op, nobody knows how long it will take for you! Hopefully it will kickstart into "proper" labour soon Smile

Good luck

Congratulations OP!

My back to back labour was longer and more painful too, but I didn't want to tell you that before you had to do it!

Congrats!
My back to back labour led to an epidural which was not part of my birth preferences... I take my hat off to anyone who managed without!

I done it on just gas and air .. I was begging for a pethedene but they said I should of had it earlier I was so upset even crying just for a paracetamol lol they said paracetamol isn't going to touch my pain I wanted the back pain to stop begging for massage as soon as anyone stopped massaging me was so bad xx a epidural came In my mind once I just took that out my head on my birth plan it said no epidurals inducing or c sections at all... Just pethedene when I cant handle it and when I couldn't handle it it was to late xx 😂
