Please can someone reassure me on what to expect should I need one? I find out in the 8th of November if I’ll need a section at 39 weeks due to partial placenta previa.
I had a vaginal delivery with my daughter and I’m starting to get nervous.
Anyone care to share the process and what it was like for them with me? I’ve heard a planned section is different to an emergency?
What was the recovery like for you etc?
Hope someone can reassure me! Thanks

I had one on September 11th and found it to be a really positive experience, although I only have a traumatic birth to compare it to.

It was very calm and only took around 30 mins. I was given pain relief after but was able to ask for oromorph if I needed more. Was up and about 7 hours after. I felt better than I expected to within a week but do make sure you have someone to help you with your older child.

Good luck!
