Losing mucus plug

I’ve posted this already in pregnancy, but realised childbirth may be a better location...

34+2 with second DS

Lost my mucus plug tonight - was a quite bit brown with a little red.

First pregnancy I lost it 3 weeks before due date, and 4 weeks before he was eventually evicted via the sunroof, so not really sure if this is a sign something could be happening soon or not...

Any advice / RL experiences!

I would ring the maternity wards and see what they say best to be safe xx

Def check in with your mw.

Just thought I’d give an update as I didn’t get any notifications of responses!

I spoke to my MW who said ‘it doesn’t always mean imminent labour, but could’ . I ended up in L&D a few days later, but turns out that was a false alarm...

Still very pregnant, carried on loosing more mucus all that week, but none since. Had a lot of on and off BH, but nothing more concrete luckily.

The last 24 hours I’ve had permanent back ache - the joys of pregnancy - and on and off cramps like I usually get the couple of days before coming on my period.

Who knows what the next couple of weeks will hold or when he will make an appearance!
