Bleeding 14 days after c section

So I had ELCS 14 days ago..
My bleeding stopped about a week afterwards, well until last night anyway..

(TMI to follow..sorry)
Last night I went to the toilet before bed for a wee, when I wiped there was loads of clear jelly like discharge that seemed to come forever, at the end was some brown blood. I continued to wipe and there was more brown blood.

There has been brown blood on my pad today and when I have wiped..

Is this normal 14 days after c section?

I bled off and on for about four to five weeks after my CS. It was off and on as well. If you're worried go see your doctor, but it took a few weeks for mine to stop too.

Thank you.

Is the jelly like stuff normal? And the blood being brown?

I never thought about the brown to be honest - that just made me think it was either old or coming to the end of it. The jelly like stuff didn't happen too often but I am quite discharge heavy at times anyway! It was ages till mine stopped fully then I had a coil fitted and it all started again

Don't worry Anon. It is normal. I had c-section last year. My bleeding was stopped after two months. Then I had a gap of 3 weeks, after that bleeding started again. I consulted to my doctor. She asked me to use medicines or wait for it to stop. She said medicines has side effects. So I waited to stop it naturally. Can you imagine, it took 5 months to become my body normal. Now I have regular periods, only sometimes cramps. I was too much worried at that time. I thought it was some issue due to c-section. Every woman has different behaviour of c-section. In most cases, bleeding stopped in 10 to 40 days.

If you never went into labour or lost your plug, that could be the jelly like stuff. Other than that it's normal for bleeding to be on and off for several weeks. If you notice any signs of infection, obvs, seek advice.

Hmmm. Are you BF? If not (and I guess if you are too), the jelly could be cervical mucous due to ovulation and it’s washed out some old blood with it.
