Birth and Hip replacements

I am 43 and due in late January. Coming up to my 20 scan and have an appointment with a consultant at Homerton after that to discuss things.
I am finding that I appear to a bit of anomaly, I have have some additional hardware, a total hip replacement, which was done 20 months ago. I am also hypermobile. I have extra physio care to make sure the hip and my pelvis are all okay.
I have spoken with the surgeon who completed the surgery and he is happy that I can carry to term and there is no danger of dislocation of the new hip and that the replacement should not effect anything with the birth besides not being in a prolonged positions.
I was wondering is there any other mothers out there with hip replacements and any issues they came across with medical staff or with their replacements? Is there any questions I should ask the consultant, in relation with my interesting hardware?
