Anyone else's labour start with being sick??

I'm 40+5 today and been feeling queasy all day. Been sick 3 times now since 3.30pm and getting stronger braxton hicks (although not timing them yet). My first labour started with waters breaking and strong contractions straight away so this is quite different!

yep my first one began with me bringing up my evening meal...

Yes - I was sick with all 3 of mine.

Yes with my dd I was sick and had diorreah.
Its the old clear out.

Thanks - I do feel like things are starting to happen but then again - you can read too much in to every little sign at this stage as I'm obviously very keen for things to get going now I'll try and pop back later with an update!

Mine didn't, but I have heard it can be one of the early signs.

OH GOD!!!
DH been sick now so it's either gastric flu or he's just coming out in sympathy with me Such bad timing if it is a bug - next thing DS will get it and I'll be up all night changing sheets and comforting a sick toddler - then go in to labour in the morning!

Ah! now with dd I was sick and had the runs, then dh was too so we thought it was the Chinese meal we'd eaten.

2 hours later I had dd in my arms and dh was fine.

Alas - it was a short lived tummy bug and nothing else. Baby is still firmly in place and showing no signs of making its way out. sigh

I was sick when I reached transition, all three times. But no it didn't start that way.
