Tear afterbirth - no stitches healing?

Hi everyone

I gave birth around 5 days ago and afterward the midwife said I had a tear that would hold together without stitches , for the first couple of days this seemed fine but recently I've noticed fresher blood (only a small amount like from a razor cut) coming from part of my vagina

It stings like a cut from a razor too and I'm wondering if I should alert a midwife , ? Wondering if this has reopened ?

When is your midwife due to see you again?

You should contact her then to seek advice.

I needed stitches with my first but refused as I was terrified, took a bit to heal but got there eventually.

Don't think they can stitch now?

I went in loads of baths with salts I think, hopefully clears up soon.

I tore with my first and didt get stitched because they never told me . It took 13 weeks for me to fully heal I put sea salt in my bath every day to stop infection.
