A question re birth of twins/multiples

When does each placenta come out? One after each twin, or both after the second twin?

(I'm just curious.)

Hi, in my case (vaginal birth) they both came out after second twin. Dunno what happens if c/section though.

I had a C-birth and they took the placentas out after each twin. DT1 shoved her placenta in the way so there was no choice really. lol

Can you have the syntometrin injection? Is there time for both placentas to come out before the cervix closes?
