2nd baby labour experiences

I'm really interested to hear people's second baby labour experiences.

My first was a long, drawn out induction that ended in EMCS 4 days after if started, hoping for something slightly better this time!

time I had a bad tear with my first (and episiotomy). My second equally late equally large baby, I did tear but much less and only because she had her hand next to her head!

1st labour ridiculously long and lots of intervention and DD was born eventually 13 days after due date.
2nd lovely calm and felt relatively quick and 8 days before due date. Contractions through 2 nights (but stopped in the day between), got to the hospital in the morning to be 4cm at 10am and DS was born 2.5 hours later. Only gas and air and a bit of help to get the placenta out. It was wonderful and if I'd had that experience 1st time around we wouldn't have such a big gap!

First was nearly 14 days late, 27 hr back to back labour followed by episiotomy and forceps due to brow presentation.

#2 was 10 days late, appeared in a very intense 1.5hrs (from.first contraction to placenta delivery) in the back of a racing ambulance. Very outing that! No pain relief, but as was unassisted ended up with a 3rd degree tear which went on to heal well, and a big blood loss.

My second labour was 90 minutes from first sign to baby. I reckon no more than 30 contractions in total. I totally lost it for what was probably about 2 minutes during a couple of hideous contractions, then the remaining waters broke and she surfed out on the back of them. No pushing, no stitches. My notes say time of admission 21:44, time of delivery 21:46!!

Woke up at 5am on due date as waters had broken. Contractions started at 6am and I gave birth at 0745.

The only obliging thing that child has ever done.
