Induction after EMCS

I'm due to go in for an induction tomorrow due to raised blood pressure. I'd love to try a natural birth this time but have been reading of the risks and am slightly panicking now 😩.

I had to have an emcs last time round due to my daughters heart rate dropping when I was in active labour. Never got to the pushing stage but was having contractions and was 4cm at the time.

Has anyone had a successful induction after section?

Yes, had my waters broken then started on the syntocin. Dc2 born after 11 hours. Was slightly uncomfortable towards the end but I hadn't dilated or progressed at all until 30 mins before dc2 arrived!
Never had the pessary to soften cervix as I was 2cm dilated, I don't think they would have used it as associated with scar rupture. Make sure you are aware of the risks, and that they are acceptable to you, good luck

Exactly the same reason as you for my first emcs
