On and off labour!

Someone put me out of my misery please! I'm 41 weeks and 1 day and have been having regular contractions (6-10 mins apart) in the night since Saturday (3 nights ago) and random contractions in the day. This is my second baby and gave birth 17 months ago to my first. I thought the second labour was meant to be quicker?! I went to get checked and I am only 2cm with a posterior cervix!!!
Has anyone else been through this? I don't know why my labour isn't progressing :(

this might not be what you want to hear but I had 8 days of this :( I think it happens when the baby is back to back so you're trying to turn it (mine ended up being born that way)

Oh no really! Did the midwife offer an induction or did you wait it out?

I had about 4 sweeps 🙈 but I really didn't want to be induced after a bad first experience x

oh wow 4 sweeps! I wanted to avoid the sweep. So after an emergency c section I finally have my little man :) Thanks for your response
