tens machine

Can anybody out there advise about the Lloyds Chemist/Solpadeine tens machine (reduced to a tenner from £40)? On the box it advises against using it during pregnancy/labour! I rang the pharmacy where it had been bought from and they too advise to adhere to this caution! I have just posted an email to the Lloyds website requesting clarification on safety. Has anyone used one of these? Am I being over cautious not to go ahead and use it if needed? (I am due next week although my midwife tells me at 4/5 engaged I'm likley to pop imminently, so this is urgent for my home birth!!)

Many thanks

I would imagine you need a proper labour one. I think large Boots do them.

I found it a real godsend, would def recommend, but prob a proper labour one is better unless it's an emergency...

best of luck!

Thanks for that - I will go ahead and find another and heed the warning! Fingers crossed I don't go into labour tonight though without a full tool kit!!

I hired mine for Lloyds pharmacy. Was good for early stages for me both times.
