What was your 3rd labour like?

How was labour for you with 3rd baby?

Feel really nervous this time round?

1st baby was restricted to the bed for monitoring
2nd baby induced and back to back

Who knows what type of labour 3rd will be 😓

Mine was much easier, less painful and quicker than the previous two.

Good luck!

The best! Easiest, baby in best condition.
Hope same is true for you!

I hope so too, I still have ages to go but got the fear the other night and now can't stop thinking and worrying.

Got to come out now 😥

1st: induced, monitored throughout, three days long, forceps, tearing, blood transfusions

2nd: 12 hours long, epidural, no tearing, easy recovery

3rd: 55 mins long. No time for pain relief so extremely intense but no tearing ornorher problems and I did the school run 12 hours later!

Needsomesunshineandwine - are you me? Strange coincidence, you described my births!
My 3rd was the easiest of the 3. Quick and straightforward. Good luck.

Thanks ladies, I feel tad better for now 😁

To be fair my previous labours were not too long or bad, think I have the fear of knowing what's coming, ha!!

I'm 9 years older from first labour, 5 from second and don't feel as fit or tolerable to pain anymore. Time will tell..

In a similar position to you! I'm 37 weeks with no 3 & starting to worry.. although my labours were pretty straightforward & quick... no time for pain relief & 3rd degree tear second time round. I've started to feel really overwhelmed today.. everyone else is so excited & im like omg I have to give birth again 🤦‍♂️😣. X

needsomesunshineandwine · 20/06/2017 17:04

I've still got 15 weeks, think I will be a bit better near the end as I'll be ready to get baby out.

I keep thinking about the pushing stage and what size this baby is going to be 😯

Once labour starts you will be fine, ha. Let's hope it's good labours for us Grin

I was induced as I'm older and my age they won't let me go overdue.

The induction was hellish for me as I don't like epidurals so didn't have one.

Also this baby was born over a decade after my previous dc. Doctors said it was like I was having a baby for the first time.

My labour was a lot more intense but I only had a second degree tear and have healed v fast in comparison to my first birth where stitches got infected and I had to take antibiotics and took ages to heal.

I do have a gorgeous little much yearned for baby now and would do it all over again for her. Had a lot of miscarriages before her.

If you're worried about the birth talk thro your options with your midwife. Also try hypnobirthing it may help to positively manage labour.
