40 week Sweep- BH or Labour??

Just wanted some advice/opinions..
Ive been suffering a lot with my back and hips the past few days and yesterday lost my mucus plug. I had a second sweep today (I'm exactly 40 weeks) which she said my cervix was still 2cm long and that her head was 2/5 engaged. She told me to go for a walk immediately which I did. Anyway since then I can't decide if I have braxton hicks or contractions. I'd describe them as kind of in my pelvis/ pubic bone. I've had a few in my stomach but not frequent. They're quite debilitating. And hurt a lot!!
Is it realistic it could be labour given that I wasn't looking favourable at the sweep?
Also any similar stories please share...

I Thought it was imminent.. I had contractions from around 1am til 7am for around a minute every 6 minutes. I called the advice line and was told to take paracetamol and sleep! To wait until they were coming every 3 minutes. I was mad but safe to say she was right as it's all calmed down today. Loosing will to live! I was so hopeful!!

Oh no what a deflation!!

I'm in a similar position - had sweep earlier today and having contractions every 6-7 mins of moderate intensity and have had a very bloody show.

I'm swithering whether to call maternity or not.

Hope it happens soon for you
