40+8 second baby (first was on time)! Getting fed up now, had sweep and nothing at all.
Have been advised to maybe see a chiropractor or have acupuncture etc....has anyone had any good experiences with any remedies like the above?

I love my chiropractor who specialises in pregnancy. They can't start things off but they can help ensure everything is positioned properly which is part of it. I was seeing my chiro weekly and he told me (thur morn) that "that was more like it" and he reckoned Id have a baby "within 24 hours". Low and behold my waters broke at midnight and she arrived the next morning

I'm 40+3 and had acupuncture on my due date. I've been told to come back on Tuesday if I've not had the baby. I believe it helps ripen the cervix, but ultimately baby will come when it's ready...
