Slow labour ? Totally different from last time help?

Hi I'm 38 +7 days I'm booked in for a c section for Thursday.
Last three days I've been having period pains, cramps, tightening around back and lower tummy but can't tell if it's baby pushing.
I've felt unwell and sick for a few days too.

Last time I had no pains lost my plug water broke next morning and then all the pains began.

Is it just normal this or possibly labour

It sounds like early labour, getting ready to go. Is 38+7 not 39?

I have had those symptoms for a couple weeks now (I'm 38 + 3). I understand it's normal and you aren't in labour unless you can time them and it's progressively painful and closer together. If you are booked in for a section it can't hurt to call though.

I had most of these symptoms in the last couple of weeks too. Delivered at Term plus 9. I would give them a call and get a bit of advice.
