Second baby, had a sweep today and not sure if it will work but wondering if anyone has any similar experiences?
Cervix right at the back, but she managed to sweep it, which I felt but it didn't hurt at all! I am 1cm dilated apparently and cervix is thick showing signs of thinning. I did have to tell her to stop because it was uncomfortable at the entrance and i thought I was going to bleed or split, so she may have tried to sweep it more than once but I had to tell her to stop.
The last sweep I had which worked wasn't pleasant, it felt like an intense period cramp as she swept cervix and 6 hours later I went into labor. Will this one work if it didn't hurt my cervix?
