Growth scan 39+5

i had a scan today because of increased movements twice in a short period, everything is fine but they also checked the weight of baby. They predicted baby is 8Ib 1oz. I am interested to know who has had a scan late on and what the actual birth weight compared to scan was.

I had a scan at 40 weeks and they estimated my Dd to be 7lbs 6Oz. She was born five days after that at 7lbs 10oz, so pretty close :)

Scan at 37+4 suggested 9lb 0oz at full term. Baby delivered at 40+0 was 8lb 15oz, so pretty accurate!

I had a scan at 39+4 and weight was estimated to be 8lbs 3oz. DS was born at 10 days later at 41 weeks weighing 8lbs 10oz so the scan had been quite accurate!

I had a scan at 38+4 and they predicted DD at 7lbs 7oz. She was born at 38+5 weighing 6lb 2oz. So they were a fair way out in my case.

Scan at 36 weeks, predicted at 8lbs.

Born a week later at 6lbs.

I had one at same gestation. I was told baby was huge, he was born 7 days later and only 7lb

scanned at 39w and 6.11 was predicted

i went into labour that evening and when he arrived the following morning he was 6.8
