Possible blood clot?

Gave birth on Saturday had a bleed after think it was around 800ml's anyway got home next day have to take blood thining injections due to this being my 4th child and I smoke also been told to wear red stockings for 10 days also so my problem is last night I woke with a pain/cramp/ache in my right bum cheek it's still there could this be a sign of a blood clot

Get it checked out immediately - that sensation is exactly how my post partum DVT began. I hadn't been given any warning and so didn't realise until the next morning when my leg was black and swollen to twice the size of the other one. I really hope it isn't but it isn't worth the risk in case it is. Earlier treatment will minimise damage and swelling.
