Sweep and lost mucus plug...labour soon?

I am 39+6 today. I had a sweep yesterday at 10:30 followed by some cramping overnight. I lost my mucus plug at about 11:00am this morning. Does this mean labour is imminent? X

Well certainly within the next 2 weeks and 1 day. But yeah, its all really good signs.

I went into labour 12 hours after mine, I kept getting loss/bloody mucus, Good luck home baby arrives safely.

At least a week after my show with dc1. About 2 hours after my sweep with dc2.

Obviously it's different for everyone but with my first I had a sweep on my due date, random pains for the next two days and then had him at 40+3
With my second I had my sweep at 40+2, went into established labour late next evening and he was born at just after midnight at 40+4. He's 9 days old and currently snoozing away next to me Grin

2 days after with my first, 1 day after with my second. Didn't have a sweep though.

Congratulations stilla!! I can't wait to meet my little baby!! I hope things progress soon. 9 months is a long time!!

Only once had a definite show, was in labour 6 hrs later.

Sweep-show-loose plug-baby happened in about 36 hrs for me.

My labour started on my due date with light cramps and my mucus plug coming away, and it carried on for the 48 hours I was in early labour. I had my baby 5 days after it started, but she was OP presentation (back to back) so I had an unusually long labour!

I lost my mucous plug on Monday...

Had a sweep on Thursday, everything looking great, 2cm dilated and cervix very soft.

Bloody show Friday

Now 41+1 and nothing other than intermittent period cramps and BHs. Booked for induction on Wednesday and feeling pretty sad about that.

Had a sweep on my due date in the afternoon and was 1 cm dilated, the midwife made me almost 2cm dilated, went into labour that night and had my ds the following night.
