Footling Breech experinces...

Hi Ladies

My LO is currently breech and I think theres a high chance she is Footling Breech, as everytime she kicks, it literally feels like she is going to come busting out my cervix. She has been like this for over 7 weeks now to my knowledge. I know there is still time for her to turn herself, but just wondered if there was anyone else out there that has any experience of this? If she doesn't turn then I think it will be an elective c-sec for us! Looking in to it ECV doesn't tend to work for footling breech and can stress baby out, so they don't tend to suggest it and to be honest, I wouldn't be willing to try!

My first was footling breech, didn't move and I went into labour at 38 weeks. No option for me, had to have a section. ECV wasn't even discussed. It was technically an emergency section but it was fine, just don't hang about if you have any labour signs get straight to hospital.

My second was footling breech. They didn't recommend trying to move her although I had already had a section previously. I went for an elective section which was fine.

And yes to the jabbing in the cervix!! I'd forgotten that pain!!

My second was a footling breech. Meant to be an ELCS, but he came rapidly at 35 weeks and came out in 3 pushes vaginally.

Thank you for replying ladies! I am utterly convinced she is footling, feels like she is jumping up and down on my cervix at times. Luckily our hospital is literally 5 mins from home, so if she is and i do go in to labour prior to a ELCS date, then at least we are close! Lol

I am looking in to Moxibustion too, as a non invasive thing to try, to see if she will turn herself.
