Bloody show after sweep?? (TMI alert)

39+1, had a vigorous (!) sweep yesterday and been losing blood/mucus since. Period pains on and off and a few tightenings nothing regular. With my first I didn't have a show until I was in early labour and contracting. Disappointed to have lost plug and had show but no labour yet. when did you go into labour after bloody show??

Midwife removed my bloody show during the sweep waters went 12 hours later, baby born 6 hours after that.

I had 2 and neither worked. Lots of mucous and twinges and blood spots which really got my hopes up. But no they didn't work. Was 1st baby though.

I had a bloody show after my sweep but didn't go into labour.

Get hoovering!! Got things going on more than one occasion for me!!

I lost my mucus plug after having a sweep, midwife said she'd be surprised if I didn't have the baby by the end of the week. I was due the Friday (when I had the sweep) had baby early Monday morning.

I had a show on Friday, lots more the Saturday and had baby Monday
