Anyone else had this problem?

Hi all

So my first (7yrs ago) was a c section. Breech.

Second I requested a section as I just thought something was off.
I was right, my uterus was attached to my scar. Not massively but enough for them to tell me any future pregnancies will be classed as high risk. So I'm 3/4 weeks pregnant with number 3. Feeling a bit anxious. Has anyone else has this complication? Thanks :)

Yes adhesions- very common I think anyone who's had a c section or any abdominal surgery has them to some extent so I think it depends on the severity as to whether cause for concern. They will get worse with each surgery and will make the op a bit trickier for the surgeon I think but it's something they will be used to. I guess talk to your consultant.

Yes I'll call the doctors tomorrow and ask to be put in contact. I remember being on the operating table still spinning from the drugs and they told me that my next pregnancy would need monthly scans and be classed as high risk. Thanks for your reply :)

If the uterus is attached to scarring of the abdominal wall or similar this is different to adhesions which are indeed very common.
If the uterus is adhered to something that it shouldn't be, then yes they will want to keep a close eye on you as the uterus grows.
I would book an early appt with the midwife at your GP's and explain situation and get referred to your Ante natal clinic

Yes it was definitely the lining of my uterus. I'll call tomorrow :)
