Can someone please assure me this is normal!
So, I had my third 10 weeks ago. I'm exclusively breastfeeding but I have always seen my periods return within 3 months before.
The past 2 days I have been experiencing terrible cramps, but no sign of AF. I bled a couple of weeks ago lightly. I think it was a bit more lochia. I experience mild anxiety and depression and I'm on a low dose of antidepressants which help for sure. However, along with these cramps I am so moody, emotional, and terribly anxious. I feel so crap! I just want to go back to bed with a hot water bottle except I have 3 kids to look after! I'm tired and frazzled too.
Experiences of first pp period? Did you cramp for days? Should I expect my period soon or will I just cramp and have the symptoms without the bleed? Does anyone else have awful moods/anxiety as part of their cycle? What do you find helps?
Tell me I'm normal and I don't need to bang on the doctors door shouting for her to up my antidepressants!
