LOTS of reassurance needed...

Hi everyone,
I have recently been diagnosed with placenta previa and accreta and am booked in for a c section at 36 weeks in just under 2 weeks time. I am completely terrified and have made the mistake of googling it way too much! Can anyone share any light or have any similar experiences? And hopefully reassure me that I am going to be ok??
This my third pregnancy - my second was an EMCS at 33 weeks so I am very nervous about having another early baby. It was a very traumatic experience. Mainly scared of the surgery itself, major blood loss, GA or spinal (not sure which would be worse to be honest!), possible hysterectomy and the recovery afterwards. My husband is being no support as he is completely freaked out and scared that 'I might die'.
Any feedback would be amazing. Thank you!

I've only had an emcs but my understanding is that planned sections are a totally different experience, much calmer and easier recovery. The Dr will be very experienced and their top priority is to keep you and baby alive so you really don't have to worry about that! Does your hospital let you chose a play list for your company section? I think things like that can help you feel more in control of the situation.
Re baby coming at 36 weeks, it'll be very different to a 33 weeker as essentially 36 weeks isn't really premature, lungs are fine, sucking reflex is there, etc etc. Chances are baby will be on the ward with you straight away, might just need keeping extra warm and a bit of help with establishing feeding.
