Ladies who had sweeps that worked, what was your cervix like when you had it done? She said it's still quite thick at 2-3 cm, 1cm dilated and has started to move forward she didn't have to pull it forward? Baby's head still quite high, -3

I was 2/2.5 cm at the sweep. Cervix had softened and shortened some, around 25% effaced and quite low and "ready" she said :)

Period like pains started immediately (but not contractions)... gave birth just over 36 hours after the sweep.

Good luck! :)

Had a lot of brown jelly earlier, just over 24 hours later, nothing else significant....

Yep me

Had a sweep done on a Monday at 37 weeks exactly

Had contractions on and off all that day and Tuesday. Proper contractions Tuesday night that meant I didn't get any sleep.

Went to the maternity ward that morning and was offered another sweep because I wasn't dilating. I was then admitted to the day unit to see if I progressed. Lots of walking and all bouncing.

Ds was born that night at 10.40 weighing 5lb 3oz at 37+3

First one cervix thick and at the back, told probably won't work and it didn't. A week later was told my cervix was still at the back and thick but I went into labor 6 hours afterward. 3 hours later baby arrived.

Still losing brown stuff, walked around ikea for 2 hours, feeling a bit achey and getting the odd pain, nothing regular
