Induction

Hi ladies I was just wondering if anyone had had an induction just by having their waters broken..I'm having my sweep next Thursday an if that doesn't work goin in Friday morning ...has anyone had just their waters broken an it worked without anything else?

I've been induced 3 times, one pessary & ARM, one just ARM and one ARM & drip. The drip was my fourth baby and necessary, I think, because it was earlier than the previous ones and the induction was due to medical reasons. The two idcurions which were for late dates I went into labour quickly and easily after they broke my waters. Labours were fast (shortest less than 90 minutes from waters broken to baby in arms, longest 3 hours 12 minutes) and pretty much text book. Best of luck Smile

I was induced with my third baby 11 weeks ago.
Midwife broke my waters and DS arrived less than two hours later. It was an amazing, calm birth!
