Anyone been induced early for a large baby?

Just wondering, have had two babies over 10lbs, both induced labours way overdue. This one is looking at being even bigger. Growth scan showed he was just under 6lb at 32 weeks. Last growth scan on Friday at 36+2. I'm guessing he'll be nearly 9lb then! I've had 38 weeks, 39 weeks and term induction mentioned, just wondered about other people's experiences...

Yes I had a scan at 33 weeks with my last pregnancy that showed baby was approx 7lbs so they booked me in for an induction at 38 weeks. Baby was born weighing 9lbs 6oz so not sure what weight they would have been if allowed to go into labour naturally.

Previous babies were 9lb 1 Oz 40w +3 and 10lbs 42w

I've always wondered this.

DC1 was 9lb 2Oz when I was induced at 40+12 so I asked for DC2 to be induced at least at term but they wouldn't. I eventually went into labour 40+12, the day I was due to be induced and baby was 10lb 8oz.

Makes me not want another to be honest!

Beside the sea, similar situation here, my daughter was 15 days late, 10lb 6. When pregnant with my son I was so anxious about another huge baby as the birth wasn't great, they scanned me at 36 weeks said he was only just over 7lbs and would never get to 10lbs so the earliest they would induce me was 10 days overdue, and he was 10lb 8!

I'm so scared of this one being even bigger and getting stuck/complications. X
