Had a consultant appointment today and it was decided best to go for a c section.

The consultant who will be carrying out the procedure though, was bloody eccentric to say the very least! I'm talking mad scientist eccentric Xmas HmmConfusedGrin

Any planned c section/recovery stories?

I'm finding it hard to believe that they will "ship me out" in 24 hours ?!?

Planned section for me in 12 days!! Bern told I'll likely be in for 48 hrs(no reason other than its major surgery.

Had an emergency c with DS and was out just over 48 hrs later. Enjoyed my stay andoramorph and so planning on milking it again!!

I'm in for an elective at request. What's your story?!(I'm told I'm too posh to push but after almost loosing DS in childbirth I'm not prepared to risk it or go through the fear again!)

I had elcs due to large breech baby. It was fabulous! So calm and quick. Obviously major advantage knowing when it will be. In and out of theatre in about 40 minutes.

Stayed two nights, I wouldn't have wanted to go home after 48 hrs tbh.

I had an ELCS one week ago today! I was indeed home in 24 hrs.

Overall, the section was a v calm and positive experience. 7 days on, I have just walked to my local park with buggy, had a coffee and strolled back. Moving slowly but moving nonetheless!
