Please tell me it gets better!

I'm a week PP and everything hurts. Hips, pelvis, back, every single muscle big and small from the top of my thighs up to my head! Stitches and Perinium sore. My shoulders hurt from contorting into positions to feed DD. My boobs are sore and nipples tingly.

Waking up from a sleep hurts my brain and my poor bruised body.

I had a straight forward birth and felt great for 2-3 days PP but now I feel broken!

Sounds normal. I have only had two sections (the second was 5 days ago) but from what I know of vbs from family and friends what you describe is typical.

Also sore here. Sat on the sofa yesterday and wept at DH that I would never feel like me again!

It gets better.

Firstly, remember when feeding bring baby to the breast - not the breast to baby, so get yourself in a comfortable position (slightly reclined or lying down often) and then bring baby to you and latch them on.

My undercarriage was sore and swollen for about 4 weeks and 11months on I'm still a bit swollen and incontinent but it doesn't affect day to day life too much.

My hips and back ached for weeks but don't anymore.
