Hey

Just a quick question, Ive been having rather uncomfortable braxton hick for 2/3 weeks now. Been starpped to a mintier a few times, last check cervix was still quite high even though monter was picking up contractions every 6 mins or so, sometimes going right up to 140 in strength!

Anyway my lovely mw at the hospital told me that false labour in women with low AFi levels is quite common. Makes it all seem a bit more intense, Im booked in for a section on Fri so not too fussed about getting labout going but today the contractions hurt, sort of take my breath away and Ive been feeling sick all day too, dunno whether its related.

Anyway my question is How will I know its the real thing, Im just about coping at home now, running another bath, Id say they where still every 10 mins or so, lower back ache too and lots of pressure down below.

Gettin quite concerned he will be born onto the bathroom floor cos I wont have a clue when IM in labour LOL

if you say you are just about coping, might be worth calling the midwife, as aching back, pressure down below and regular contractions can well signal the start of something,

is the intensity increasing as the pains continue?

as you have a high risk pregnancy, i would call anyway x

likely to know you are in labour before baby appears !

keep the phone with you and make sure you are in shouting distance of DH

good luck for friday x
