Did your DC2 come earlier/quicker than DC1?

I'm getting to the end now (39+2) and went over with DD1 (40+5). Everyone around me is convinced baby is coming any day but I'm trying not to get excited/ think too much or I'll drive myself mad!

Intrigued to know stories of DC2 to pass the time please! Did they come earlier or later and was the second labour really quicker?

PS. No horror stories please! Confused

Exactly same day.

Which is strange as DD1 was EMCS so no idea when she would've naturally arrived.

Both at 39+5.

Oh and same for labours with dd1. DD2 I started contractions Monday night at 9pm, went in at 2am early hours Wednesday and was 4cm. Had DD2 at 12:22 so 10 hours later.

Dc1 39 weeks 4 days - entire labour was 4 hours.
Dc2 41 weeks - entire labour 90 mins so dc2 later but much faster labour.

DC1 - waters broke at 40 +2- ended up with an induction after no further action..
Dc 2 - no sign at 41+ 6 so I was induced again. The birth was much faster and nicer the second time though!

DC1 born at 38+3. Pregnancy was difficult towards the end. Birth involved losing 1500ml blood and getting sewn up in theatre afterwards, followed by a transfusion the next day.

DC2 born at 40+4. Overall much better pregnancy and birth and much more enjoyable experience.

Ds was born at 40+13 after 4 nights of stop start latent labour and no sleep (contractions every 5 min) and 18 hours of active labour including a drip when labour stalled.

Dd was born at 40+10 as a planned home birth after 20 hours latent labour (contractions every 5 to 7 min) and 3 hours active labour. Despite a 2nd degree tear, I was walking around with her in a sling 1.5 days later - so so much easier than my experience with DS.

Both 39+4 DS1 - 12 hours, DS2 - 5 hours but didn't really realise I was in labour until I hit transition, only just made it to hospital and nearly had him in a toilet!

Dd1 - 40+4 - 35 hour labour from first contraction back to back labour although active stage only recorded as 5 hours. 2.5 hours pushing.

Dd2 - 39+6 - around 24 hours from first contraction. Active labour only 2.5 hours and out in about 4 pushes.

I think if I have a third it'll fall out haha.
