First two early, will third also follow suit?

Currently expecting DC3. First born at 37+4, second born at 39+5 so is it a fair assumption that this one is likely to arrive before I hit 40 weeks? Would love to hear about others' experiences.

My first two were born at 39 weeks. Third one, well I'm currently at 41 weeks and no signs! Can't believe it, have been prepared for the past 3 weeks.

My first was 1 week early, second 1 week late, third was on her due date by 1 minute😊

Tidy wow you must have spent every moment of the last two weeks expecting labour to kick off, how frustrating! This is what I need to hear to reset my expectations I think. I have just naively assumed that the third would follow the same pattern of being before my due date but need to realise that I could have many more weeks to wait!

Yes greedy, I was convinced that I would have a baby by now and therefore cancelled all plans and have spent the past three weeks becoming increasingly dejected and fed up.
Hopefully that won't be the case for you!! No one else I know has been this overdue

DC3 arrived this morning, though she was my latest, she was also my lighted and my quickest!

Congratulations ricekrispie! How funny that despite being inside for the longest, she was your smallest. Sounds like I need to prepare myself for making to my due date and possibly beyond this time then!

I have 5dc & never got to any of my due dates.

Closest was dc2 at 2 days before.

1. 42 weeks
2. 40+5
3. 38 weeks
4. 34 weeks
5. 31 weeks

First baby was induced all the rest were spontaneous.

Dd1 40+1 (started on due date)
Dd 2 40+1 (started on due date)
Dd3 39+ 5
Dd4 39+ 3
Ds5 38 + 2 (induced)
