Hello did anyone eat during labour? I don't know if I would even feel like eating but since I've had a big appetite throughout my pregnancy I thought I would ask your advice

I had crystallised ginger... Somehow felt it giving me a real kick

No eating for me, too busy vomming.
However I know it sounds ridiculous but I took snacks for DP. Cos whilst you are doing all the work it can be a very long time for him/her to sit there. Plus sugar is good to keep them on point during a long night. Just don't pack anything rustly/smelly which might piss you off. Poor DP didn't get to eat his cheese and onion crisps after I gave him the 'I know I packed them but you dare and I will suffocate you' after he opened one with excessive (I felt) noise.

No, I couldn't drink during the first one either,in my second labour I was downing pints of Robinsons orange squash though!
