I had a show this morning (4am) and had contractions I'd say every 30mins, this continued until 10:30, my contractions have varied, gone from 7mins apart to 15 to 30 and have no completely gone away, my waters haven't gone yet, and the contractions I have had have not been too painful.
Has anyone els had this before, I feel like I'm loosing the plot and making it all up in my head. Xxx

Sounds perfectly normal :)

Sounds normal. Labour has started but it isn't really 'established' yet. Some walking/staying on your feet and staying as calm as you can manage may help things along. Smile

Sounds like both my labours. Hope you're cuddling baby now or very soon xx

LotisBlue · 16/12/2016 23:33

Sounds like early labour. Sleep if you can, so you are well rested when it really gets going.

tushywush · 16/12/2016 23:38

Yes normal! My waters went 48 hours before having DD2. A few piddly contractions for the first 12-18 hours which spun my head off (DD1 was 5 hours from losing plug to giving birth so I expected no2 to be the same) then nothing. Last 6 hours the real fun happened.

Won't be long. Hang in there! And congrats!

tushywush · 16/12/2016 23:38

Agree re the rest and sleep if you can!

Nicketynac · 16/12/2016 23:45

Yep, mine did this... Every day for four days until I really got going

Turns out I was in labour, I went in that evening but got sent home at 1am they said my contractions weren't strong enough,my waters went in front of the midwife aswell.i went home, got no sleep and rang back in the morning as they were getting too painful, was told still not close together enough, phone back An half an hour later and said I was coming in as something didn't felt right, on the way to the hospital which is only a 10-15minute drive my body started pushing!! Within 20 minutes of getting there my gorgeous ads was born Smile very lucky it was an easy birth xxx
