I am post c section (13 days) and my lochia is starting to have a different smell. Ok l know it never smells great but now it smells horrible.

I have a midwife appt at 3pm tomorrow. Should I tell her about it or should I ring the doctors first thing to get an appt.

Apart from the smell, I don't really have any more symptoms and am worried about being a drama queen.

This is my 4th child but my first c section.

Definitely tell her. Could be an infection.

Mention it, this was me! It changed its smell, not bad per say, but different, I ended up with an infection. Because I caught it early all was well. But it was a potentially scary infection. Doctor told me I was lucky!

Please mention it!
