false labour and night time...

Monday night I had braxton hicks/contractions/whatever the hell they are every 5 mins ALL NIGHT. Last night they started at 2am and were every 20 mins. Tonight they started about 9pm and are about every 15 mins.

What is it about nighttime and all these false alarms? Is it to ensure I get NO sleep leading up to the actual event? Why nothing all day?

It's to do with hormones suzi2 - whatever the hormone is called it increases at nighttime!

I take it it's those same hormones that make you breastfeed half the night too? Ach, better get used to the sleepless nights again I guess!

how's things with you miaou?

Not too bad suzi, over the worst of the m/s (though still being sick), starting to feel better generally though!!
