Can't decide whether I am really excited, or disappointed that I didn't go into labour spontaneously (am 40+3, baby engaged for past 3 weeks)

Childcare sorted, bags packed-ish, freezer full. Can't decide whether to go and douse myself in clary sage or take some caullophyllum, or just chill and muck about with DS.

Irs all very weird.

Hi MM How exciting!!!! Well, whatever you've decided to do hope that you're having a weird but wonderful day.

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow and i look forward to reading your news somewhere on MN - hopefully the birth announcements?

hop in a cab and come and have tea with us !

or have a lovely long soak in the tub, stroke your bump lots, get DH to take a picture of your tummy, then chill....and this time tomorrow you will be a mum of 2 ! yay !

scorpio1 · 07/02/2007 16:19

oh how exciting!

me personally i would spend all day at the hairdressers/salon looking pretty for the big day. then i would get a naughty dinner like a chinese or kfc, a good film and some yummy chocolate. i would have a lovely bath and spend all evening in my dreamworld!

good luck

well have spent the afternoon pottering in the garden with my little boy.

and we are all going to go out for an early supper tonight to the tacky 70s style italian trattatoria round the corner that we went to the night before DS was born and the night before our wedding.

lulu if my dh could do a pic like yours i'd let him. but i fear it would come out a bit more martin parr

but it is still weirdy weirdness

it is indeed weirdy weirdness !

felt a bit like that the night before is was induced ...going in and out of the nursery all night folding and refolding things and giggling......

sleep well, won;t you xxx

Biglips · 07/02/2007 18:58

ooh marym - good luck xxxxxx

eidsvold · 08/02/2007 03:23

chill out and much around with ds - might be a while before you can do that again.

Mind you - I cleaned the house from top to bottom the day before my elective c-section (withno2) only cause I figured it could go for a few weeks before needing doing and knowing I did not really have anyone to do it for me.

wrinklytum · 08/02/2007 03:33

Good luck mm
