Experiences on vb after emcs

I had a very normal pregnancy with my ds, was 41+2 had 2 sweeps and water broke. I was in labour for 24 hours, put on the drip for 8 hours but never got further than 5cm. I ended up with an emcs. Ds was happy inside but the doctors told me it was for the best.

My question is, if I ever decide to have a 2nd dc, would I end up with a emcs again? Has anyone who's had a "failure to progress" gone on to have a vaginal birth?

My EMCS was also at 5 cm dilated though for fetal distress rather than failure to process. I also went into labour at 41+2. Have just had VBAC with DC2 - waters broke at 35+1 and had a very easy labour the following day, lasted less than an hour.

Congrats! Thank you that's very reassuring to know.
