Second sweep

Hi
I had a sweep on Monday. MW said that my cervix was quite high but soft and that she had managed to pull it forward. I had a bit of bleeding but nothing else.
I am booked for another tomorrow and wondered if anyone has had a second one work where the first didn't.

Getting a bit fed up now but really want to avoid being induced.
Thanks

I had 2 sweeps, they didn't work. Neither did exercise, sex or a vindaloo lol. I had to be induced, and was in labour for 24 hours. DS didn't want to be moved. He still doesn't like to be moved! :D

Congratulations!!
My waters went the day after my second sweep, so Tuesday, contractions were on and off until I was given a prostin(?) tablet to induce labour.
Baby's heartbeat was dropping with each contraction, strapped to the monitor all day and on fluids to try and move baby off his cord.
Went from 5cm to 10cm in an hour and he was delivered very quickly surrounded by meconium after a 3 hour established labour!
He had to have a lumbar puncture yesterday as he has an infection somewhere..so we're waiting for the results and hopefully going home soon.
😊
