Ring the labour ward and talk to them about when you should go in.

Good luck!!!!

Ring the labour ward, the advice you get maybe somewhat different from what others have told you!!! So much so that I got in at 9.5cm as my waters hadn't burst (they never did - she was born in her sac!) and I didn't need drugs (as I have a high pain tolerance apparently!).

If they say stay at home and you feel concerned, if your in the uk they shouldn't turn you away - you may wait on a ward or in a waiting room )not great) but if you feel happier there then that's fine too!!

Oh and bear in mind the car journey because it's not very comfortable when in later stages of labour!!!

Good luck and cuddles to the little one!
