Just a tiny amount, only time I had blood at this stage with DS was the bloody shows but this had no mucus/discharge in it. I've had a very sore tummy today been running for #2 all day though not the runs and generally been feeling crappy. Should I wait it out or give the unit a call, calling anyone seems OTT tbh

Call the labour ward/ the number is in your notes. Could be a show, could be nothing. Always best to get yourself checked out for peace of mind.

If it is a show, we need a live birth thread!!! Flowers

Primaryteach87 · 12/08/2016 21:37

Call straight away. No need to panic but they will definitely want to check what's what.

Quodlibet · 12/08/2016 21:38

I think you should ring for advice. Always best to be on the safe side and they won't think you are OTT. Pretty certain my midwife advised calling in ASAP with any vaginal bleeding at that stage.

FeelingHip · 12/08/2016 21:38

Please go and get checked out, give your unit a call. I'm sure it will be fine but it is much better to be checked. Best of luck. x

Agree, no need to panic but please phone straightaway. Sounds like baby is on their way Smile

ToffeeForEveryone · 12/08/2016 21:40

Always get anything unusual checked out. They won't mind, you are not bothering anyone or wasting time, it's what you are told to do.

eurochick · 12/08/2016 21:41

Please call right now.

marthastew · 12/08/2016 21:42

Call them and put on a pad so that you can show the midwife exactly what you are talking about.

MrsJoeyMaynard · 12/08/2016 21:45

Call them now and get checked out.

HateSummer · 12/08/2016 21:48

Call maternity and a midwife will advise you.

kiki22 · 12/08/2016 22:05

I called right after posting. Mw said sounds like a show I've to wait it out see how it goes I took a photo because I have a MW coming in the morning to check my homebirth kit if nothing else happens over night I will ask her to have a look.

Half hoping it starts over night but don't go on call until 16th so would need to go in to hospital 😞

Here's wishing you well for the safe arrival of baby!

If you're worried at all, call them back and go in.

Primaryteach87 · 12/08/2016 22:38

Aww hope baby holds on until the 16th then. I had a show a full week before labour started, so it's possible!

kiki22 · 13/08/2016 11:26

Well nothing more today apart from the tops of my legs/hips feel sore and still running to loo every so often which is not a bad ing after months of constipation!

ElspethFlashman · 13/08/2016 11:28

Running to the loo can also be a sign!

kiki22 · 13/08/2016 12:10
