I'm due next week and although I'm being induced around my due date I have been and still am hoping for my first spontaneous labour after two previous inductions. However my BMI at booking was 30 and I've put on 3 stone 
I've read that overweight women are more likely not to go into spontaneous labour as we don't produce as much of the enzyme(?) that triggers it. What is the experience of this on here? Has anyone gone into labour (around the due date) and had an unassisted birth having had a high BMI?
