Experiences of 3 C Sections please?

I've had two already and fully expected two to be my limit.

However I'm not pregnant but we are discussing the possibility of a third.

Just wondering about the fact that I'd need another section and how that would be.

I recovered very well for the first two but I know that there are no guarantees.

I've never met or know anyone who's had multiple sections before so I'm really at a loss here. My experience of talking to people in rl about sections is that they are not viewed very positively. I've had the whole "too posh to push" nonsense said to me.

I'd be really grateful to hear from people who've had thee or more sections.

I've just found out I'm pregnant today with my third, had 2 emcs, so I'm watching this thread for experiences.

Can't talk from direct experience (2 emcs also), but my sister had an elective CS for her 3rd, after a very difficult 2nd CS (ages in theatre, blood transfusion required etc). It went very smoothly compared with the previous ones and she recovered much more easily.

I've had four sections, and no problems recovering. I did ask the consultant doing the third one if another one would be OK, and he took a look and said that everything looked fine to him and a fourth wouldn't be a problem.

I had three. no difference recovering from any of them really. the second and third were easier recovery wise because I knew what to expect.
I had a tubal ligation with the 3rd c/s, it was nice to not have to worry about bc ever again.

I've had 3. The second and third were less than a year apart which I know some doctors don't like, but all went well.

The actual operation took longer and they didn't cut through the old scar but made a new one so now I have 2. The recovery was easier the third time, I think because I knew from past experience what I could and couldn't do. My midwife was surprised at how well I was and up and about so quickly and that I managed to wrestle myself into those stupid stockings they make you wear.

OK although I was really anxious in surgery and had trouble breathing. The surgeon cut away a lot of the old scar tissue and I actually have less discomfort than before. Previously the site was a bit numb and I did have some pain from inside scar tissue but now I'm fine.

I have had 4. Needed blood transfusion and was told by the surgeon no more baby's now.

Go see your GP for advice... They will be honest
