Early induction - today!

I'm getting induced tonight at 36+1 due to possible failing placenta. I'm diabetic.

Any tips for getting induction going? Is it worth hanging about in the birth ball beforehand? Doing nipple stimulation (how do I do that anyway?)?

DD was induced and that went well, only needed 2 pessaries to get going, but I was 38 weeks. Her delivery itself wasn't great.
