I'm 36+4 today. Second child but induced with my first so no idea what it feels like to go into labour naturally.

Been having back ache for a week or so now. Today since about half 2 I've been having period pains and back ache every 20 - 30 minutes, stabbing pains down below and tightenings.

Could this be it?

Could be!! I was induced but was already in early stages, lots of back pain and tightening, was 3cm bulging waters when they examined me

Could be - but without wanting to burst your bubble, I've been having that since 36+6.... Now 39+4 and same thing happening, on and off. Very dull!
