'Managed' or 'spontaneous' delivery of placenta

I'm aiming for a VBAC and I haven't got my consultant for a few weeks but have been asked to fill in my birth plan.
Does anyone know which mode of delivery of the placenta is better for a vbac if any? X

I had delayed cord clamping and then the injection for a managed placenta delivery. I remember the injection really hurt!! Which is ridiculous considering I'd just pushed a whole human out my fanjo Hmm but I clearly remember swearing when the midwife injected me Confused was pretty quick after that. I think the midwife applied slight pressure to my tummy and that was that.
I'm hopefully having a home birth this time, and am debating whether to have a natural third stage or not this time.

I also had delayed cord clamping standard practice) and managed placenta delivery twice. I understand that sometimes midwives give the injection as the baby is being born, which would preclude delayed clamping, but the injection doesn't have to be done immediately. Mine were both after the cord had been cut and I had got out of the pool and onto the bed, so probably 10 mins or so after giving birth. Both times the midwife had to tug a bit on the cord before it came out.

I had natural, I had a massive placenta which came really easily. Fed ds straightaway which helps a lot I'm told, I was feeding him, he fell asleep, I said I thought I needed the loo so they put a tub in the bowl and it came without even noticing. However it was so big it broke the tub and the poor midwife had to fish around the bowl for it! was after a home vbac. Was glad not to need an injection tbh as I was told it can make you a bit shaky. Was surprised at how easy and quick my Lochia went, few days was all.

I had all 3 delivered naturally. Only had a chance for a quick cuddle before I had to deliver placenta.

Not sure re the vbac but the injection made me vomit repeatedly which is the last thing you want when you're trying to enjoy your newborn Sad X

I opted for natural in my birth, but never had the urge to push and the placenta wouldn't budge after over an hour so I ended up having the injection, and it came out straight away.

I've had the injection all 3 times. I've never really noticed the placenta coming out. I would just rather it be done so that I can enjoy newborn snuggles without the midwife standing around.
